Began Business in June 2006
Precise Precut began business in June 2006 with 2 staff members in a modest 270m2 factory behind Gold Coast Post Forming at Arundel on the Gold Coast, QLD, Australia. Aaron whom is the director of the company could see an opportunity on the Gold Coast to open a Precut business as there was only one other company doing Precut at a high level & knew that some competition was needed. Shane the owner of Gold Coast Post Forming also agreed with Aaron and partnered with his son in the business.
High Quality Components
Precise Precut started off with great equipment to produce high quality components for the kitchen & Shopfitting industries. We bought an Anderson CNC Nesting machine, Hebrock edgebander with return system, Altendorf panel saw & Blum hinge machine. We knew buying the top quality equipment was going to be important to the success of the business. We also invested in top quality computer software to output the components in an efficient & accurate manner.
Moving Forward
Precise Precut has moved forward in leaps and bounds! Now employing 9-10 staff members, 540m2 factory which is already at capacity, QLD’s biggest Anderson CNC Nesting machine, OTT Shark edgebander with 22 m/m capabilities & huge 30kw Micronair dust extraction system servicing all the machines to make it a cleaner & healthier environment to work in.
Online Ordering
The next evolution in Precise Precut was online ordering. Our online ordering program called Modular Pro is something we are very proud of. The program lets our customers order their cabinets online without having to do a lengthy cut list. The best aspect of Modular Pro is the ease of use for our customers. What’s next at Precise Precut? I would say more automation in the office and on the factory floor. We are constantly looking for ways to improve our manufacturing, we also like keeping up with the latest in machinery and software.
Capabilities
Precise Precut can handle any job from 1 vanity cabinet to 180+ units. We are able to meet the demands of many different sized businesses whom come to us looking to streamline their business or allow them to take on more work, or big projects.
A standard shift allows us to produce 7+ kitchens per day. We are then able to work an extra shift to increase output to 14+ kitchens per day.
